The next adventure is about to begin! Plans are to fly to California and spend the first night in Santa Monica. The next day we will take a bus tour of Hollywood, including seeing the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. After all these years I will finally be able to see Barry's star!!
After the bus tour, we will head to LAX for our 11:30 PM flight to Papeete, Tahiti and then take a ferry to the island of Moorea when we arrive in the morning. We will spend 4 nights in Moorea before flying to Bora Bora for the next 4 nights. Then it will be one very long flight back home!
French Polynesia has wi-fi but reports are that it is very slow and difficult to connect. Most likely, I will able to post text, but doubt I will be able to upload large amount of photos. In that case, photos will be posted upon return home.
There are some new links to fun things we will be doing, a new song from an old favorite movie of mine (Donovan's Reef 1963) and folders just waiting for photos to be added.
The currency is beautiful, almost a shame to have to spend it! It may seem like a lot of money, but 5,000 French Pacific Francs is only $55!!
