Nurenberg Day 1

We had a 2 hour train ride this morning, and arrived here at 12:30.  The hotel was right inside the wall, across from the train station, no more than 5 minute walk.
We spent the day walking around and new photos are in the album.  This is a beautiful town, and very popular at Christmas time with the Christkindlmarkt.  I want to come back in the winter when it snows and is cold!

It is very late, we had great time today and one of us is already asleep.  Internet was slow with getting photos uploaded, so this will be short.

Hotel is fantastic, had free drinks earlier on the terrace, met a very nice young lady named Michaela who was our waitress, told us history of the town which has existed since 950.  The walls were here way before the town!   Afterwards we ate dinner in a beer garden on Konigstrasse, the main drag.

Looking forward to a great breakfast tomorrow and then we are off to the Nazi grounds which is a tram ride away.
